When Albert and I landed in Tachikawa last week we went door to door and passed out around 1000 fliers for VBS and English lessons. We have had a round 10 to 15 positive responses from the flier runs, which is good to see because it was really hot and humid when we were passing them out. Albert was getting dizzy from the heat.
It has been unusually warm here this year. So much so that my drink expense rivals my travel expenses. Japan, unlike America has drink machines on almost every corner as well as a random disbursement of them throughout suburban streets. They are like little oasis' in the midst of the tropical heat, giving you the strength to continue walking (which I do a lot of).
English lessons have been going well. I have 5 students and only one is a Christian so please pray for witnessing opportunities.
Ok that is the start of it. I will try to give a rundown of the daily VBS progress later.
