VBS and a Birthday

Today was the first day of VBS. We had 11 children show up as well as 5 mothers caring 2 infants. We went over the first two days of creation and did a craft that involved water oil and glitter to show the separation of the waters and Day and Night.

VBS went smoothly but there were not as many children as we hoped for. If more do not show up we will be eating animal crackers for the rest of the trip. Please pray that God would send more children and that we would be a good representative for Him.

Today was also Hikari's birthday. Hikari is the third of the four children in the family that I staying with. She came in and announced that she was now five and that is why we are having cake with dinner to tonight.

The children had an unusual amount of energy today because they were cooped up inside thanks to the rain. My fingers are tired from several hours of tickling, but not as tired as the children are from being tickled.
